To unpair your Apple Watch, follow these steps:
- On your iPhone, open the Watch app.
- Tap My Watch.
- Tap the General tab.
- Tap Reset.
- Tap Unpair Apple Watch.
- Enter your Apple ID password.
- Tap Unpair.
Once your Apple Watch has been unpaired, it will be reset to its factory settings. Any data that was stored on the watch will be deleted.
Here are some additional things to keep in mind when unpairing your Apple Watch:
- If you have a cellular Apple Watch, you will need to cancel your cellular plan before you can unpair it.
- If you have any health data stored on your Apple Watch, you will need to back it up before you unpair it. You can do this by using the Health app on your iPhone.
- If you are unpairing your Apple Watch because you are selling it or giving it away, you should erase all of the data on it. You can do this by following the steps above, or by using the Erase All Content and Settings option in the Reset menu.
